Need for Eye Care: Eye Care is a significant factor in our
day-to-day lives. They are the windows to our soul. We should not be
taking eyesight for granted. People with serious eye problems are
not able to see life experiences to a very large extent or sometimes
not at all. This necessitates the need to know more about Eye Care,
for both personal and financial reasons. Eye Care is very important
for maintaining high health. People with eye problems find it very
difficult to perform daily activities like cycling, reading and
walking. This also leads to emotional stress, which can lead to

should be used to prevent exposure to eyes.
Eye exercises:
A person needs to take regular breaks during his nine-hour work
routine at office. During this break; one should blink his eyes
several times, followed by rolling of the eyeballs with the eyelids
shut and gradually opening your eyes while releasing your breath.

Looking at far objects:
Looking at distant objects helps in relaxing the eye's lenses after
having spent a considerable time looking at near objects, for
example, computer monitor, etc.
Giving warmth to your eyes:
Warm your handkerchief with your breath and apply the same on to
eyes lightly. This will relax your eyes to some extent. The same can
be done by rubbing your palms against each other till you feel them
warm. This helps to relax your tired eyes. This can be done as many
times as required.
Rinsing your eyes:
Do splash water on your eyes whenever you feel tired.
Stroll around:
Expose your eyes to some fresh air outside by taking a walk after
lunch.
Use Tea bags:
Keep two used tea bags in the refrigerator for some time. Place the
tea bags on your eyes for a few minutes as you relax. This also
reduces puffiness.
Drink a lot of Water:
Drinking water reduces puffiness around your eyes.
Use antiglare glasses while driving or at work:
Antiglare glasses are meant to prevent your eyes from full beam
lights such as car headlights. Hence, these glasses provide
protection for night drivers.
These glasses can also be used while working on a computer to reduce
the strain on the eyes to a certain extent.
